In Camden, the Arts Center of Kershaw County is known for hosting an array of performing arts events and serving as the county’s artistic hub. In downtown Rock Hill, the Center for the Arts serves as a beacon for the arts within the OED’s historic downtowns. Set within two renovated buildings that are more than 120 years old, the Center houses the offices of the Arts Council of York County, classroom galleries, private artist studios, multi-disciplinary spaces and a gallery with multiple exhibitions each year.
Lancaster County Council of the Arts, residing in the historic Springs House, offers studio space, galleries, and a performance hall for local artists, as well as art-focused programs for all ages. The council is instrumental in promoting the importance of art within the community, striving to provide equitable access to enriching experiences for everyone.
