Rock Hill Pride Returns with a Week of Celebration, Arts & Community Events

Rock Hill Pride returns this June with a vibrant lineup of events celebrating arts, culture, entertainment, and community connection across downtown Rock Hill. From visual art exhibitions and live performances to family-friendly activities, markets, and themed nightlife experiences, the week offers something for a wide range of visitors and residents to enjoy.

Events will take place at various venues throughout the city, including The Mercantile, The Kounter, The Hideaway, Blue Goose Art Supply, and public spaces in downtown Rock Hill.

Pride Art Exhibition Opening Night

June 4 | 6:00–8:00 PM

Kick off Pride Month with the annual Juried Art Exhibition Opening Night featuring work from local artists. The exhibition will remain on display throughout June, highlighting regional creativity and artistic expression.

Drag Brunch Celebration

Celebrate the close of Pride Week with Buff Faye’s “Say it Loud. Say it Proud.” Drag Brunch, featuring an award-winning drag performance and brunch by Chef Rob of Kounter. Drinks available for purchase.

Pride Week Programming

June 15 – Community Events

PFLAG Football | 6:00–8:00 PM | Confederate Park
A playful, community-centered flag football game supporting PFLAG Rock Hill. Participants are encouraged to bring a wig and join in the fun, with donations supporting local programming.

One-Act Pride Plays | 7:30 PM | The Mercantile (upstairs)
Main Street Theater presents a series of one-act plays exploring everyday life in the LGBTQIA+ community.

An additional evening of Pride-themed theatrical performances presented by Main Street Theater.

June 17 – Pride Celebration Day

March for Equality | 6:30 PM | The Mercantile
Join the annual Pride March for Equality through downtown Rock Hill in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Family Music Bingo with DJ Stu | 7:30–9:30 PM | The Mercantile Alley
A family-friendly music bingo event designed for all ages.

Pride & Prose Open Mic Night | 8:00–9:30 PM | The Mercantile (upstairs)
An open mic evening featuring poetry, storytelling, and performances from LGBTQIA+ writers and artists.

June 18 – Pride Bingo Night

Roaring 20s Pride B-I-N-G-O | Evening Event | 18+
An energetic bingo night featuring comedy, prizes, and entertainment. Each ticket includes game cards and access to food and beverages available for purchase.

June 19 – Themed Pride Experiences

Roaring 20s White Party | 7:00–10:00 PM
📍 The Gathering Space (behind Kounter)
Step into the Jazz Age for an elegant evening featuring live music, drag performances, passed hors d’oeuvres, and a prohibition-inspired open bar. Dress code: Roaring 20s formal white attire.

Steampunk Masquerade Ball – Queer Youth Prom | 7:00–10:00 PM
📍 The Mercantile
A welcoming and affirming prom-style event for LGBTQ+ youth and allies featuring music, dancing, food, photo booths, and themed celebration.

Mister & Miss Rock Hill Pride Pageant | 11:00 PM–1:00 AM
📍 The Hideaway
An 18+ pageant event featuring talent, formal wear, modeling, and Q&A competition.

June 20 – Rock Hill Pride Festival Day

Outdoor Festival & Vendor Market | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

The Rock Hill Pride Outdoor Festival brings together more than 150 vendors, local makers, food trucks, live performances, and LGBTQIA+ resources for a full day of celebration in the heart of downtown.
