Pig on the Ridge

Come hungry to Ridgeway for Pig on the Ridge, one of South Carolina’s favorite barbecue celebrations. The two-day festival brings thousands of visitors and dozens of competing cook teams to this charming small town for a weekend filled with barbecue, live festivities, vendors and more.

Friday night’s “No Pigs Allowed” celebration challenges cook teams to serve dishes other than pork and includes a street party atmosphere and vendors. On Saturday, barbecue takes center stage as visitors sample different styles of South Carolina ‘cue and enjoy festival activities, contests and a classic car parade.

Sanctioned by the South Carolina Barbecue Association, Pig on the Ridge is a can’t-miss fall tradition for barbecue lovers.
