“Americans” Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition at the Native American Studies Center

Explore the complex and often overlooked role of Native Americans in American culture through Americans, a traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Featuring imagery from pop culture, sports, advertising, and history, the exhibit examines how Native Americans have remained both highly visible and largely absent in everyday American life.
