This Independence Day, the Olde English District invites you to celebrate across communities filled with patriotic pride, family-friendly fun, and unforgettable fireworks. As America marks 250 years of independence, towns and cities throughout the region are honoring this historic milestone with expanded programming, live music, parades, historic experiences, and celebrations for all ages.

Chester’s Red, White, and BOOM – LIVE After 5 SC250 Edition

📍 Downtown Chester | 📅 June 26, 2026
Kick off the Independence Day season early in downtown Chester with a special SC250 edition of LIVE After 5. Enjoy live entertainment from Dalton Davis, community gathering, and patriotic celebration as the region begins honoring America’s 250th.

Historic Brattonsville Independence Celebration

📍 York County | 📅 June 27, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Experience Independence Day at Historic Brattonsville as it was celebrated in the 1850s with living history demonstrations, patriotic readings, crafts, games, quill pen writing, tours, and special programming including hot air balloon launches.

Town of Cheraw Independence Celebration

📍 Downtown Cheraw & Cheraw High School | 📅 July 2, 2026
Cheraw’s celebration begins with the Kids’ Parade at 11:00 AM downtown, followed by an evening celebration from 6:00–10:00 PM featuring live music by The Band of Oz, DJ K-Smooth, food vendors, games, and water inflatables.

Tega Cay All-American Celebration

📍 Various Locations | 📅 July 2–5, 2026
Tega Cay’s multi-day celebration is one of the region’s most anticipated Independence Day traditions. Festivities begin on July 2 with the Boat Parade launching from Nivens Creek and traveling to Windjammer Park, followed by theCarolina Show Ski Team’s water performances. On July 3, enjoy live music, food trucks, and a kids’ zone. On July 4, the celebration continues with the parade, fish fry, State of the City, birthday celebration, and fireworks over the lake.

Light Up the Lake in Union

Enjoy live music from the Flashback Party Band, food vendors, family activities, and a fireworks display over the lake.

Lancaster County’s Rockin’ Stars & Stripes Spectacular

📍 Buford Athletic Complex | 📅 July 3, 2026
Lancaster County brings the holiday to life with its annual Rockin’ Stars & Stripes Spectacular. This high-energy celebration features live music, food trucks, rides, vendors, and family-friendly entertainment. Guests can also enjoy crowd favorites like the hot dog eating contest and eagle call contest before the night ends with a fireworks finale lighting up the sky.

Red, Wine & BBQ at Laurel Haven Estate

📍 3341 Taxahaw Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720 | 📅 July 4, 2026
Celebrate Independence Day with a laid-back vineyard experience at Laurel Haven Estate. Guests can enjoy smoked BBQ plates, wine and refreshing wine slushies, lawn games, and scenic lake and vineyard views throughout the day. Live music by Tim Hong (5:30–8:30 PM) sets the tone for the evening, followed by a small fireworks display at dusk.

Red, White & Boom in Downtown Rock Hill

Celebrate Independence Day in downtown Rock Hill with Red, White & Boom, a free, family-friendly event featuring live music, food trucks, face painting, and activities for all ages. The event brings the community together for an afternoon and evening of patriotic celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

City of York Fourth of July Celebration

📍 York Middle School | 📅 July 4, 2026 | 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Enjoy an evening of entertainment and community spirit at the City of York’s Fourth of July Celebration. The night includes DJ Woo providing music throughout the event, along with a live performance by The Sound from 7:30–9:00 PM. Guests can enjoy food trucks, kids’ activities, inflatables, and a welcoming family atmosphere before the evening concludes with a fireworks show. Admission is free and open to the public.

City of Clover Freedom Run & Roll

📍 New Centre Park | 📅 July 4, 2026
Start your Independence Day with Clover’s Freedom Run & Roll featuring a Fun Run at 8:00 AM, a 5K at 8:30 AM, and a festive golf cart parade. An awards ceremony follows, making it a patriotic and energetic morning celebration.

Kids’ Fourth of July Parade & Camden 250 Celebration

📍 Downtown Camden | 📅 July 4, 2026
One of Camden’s most beloved traditions returns with a special celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday. Families are invited to decorate bikes, wagons, and scooters in red, white, and blue before joining the Kids’ Parade through downtown Camden. The celebration continues with live music, community activities, and snow cones for participants.

Historic Camden Independence Day Celebration

📍 Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site | 📅 July 4, 2026
Celebrate Independence Day with hands-on history and family-friendly fun at Historic Camden. Visitors can enjoy wagon rides from 4:00–6:00 PM, followed by live music from 6:00–8:00 PM. Throughout the day, guests can explore living history demonstrations, patriotic crafts, flag-making workshops, ice-dyed T-shirts, and enjoy homemade ice cream and lemonade.

Kings Mountain National Military Park

📍 Kings Mountain National Military Park | 📅 July 4 Weekend, 2026
Step into history during Independence Day at Kings Mountain National Military Park weekend with Declaration readings by interpreters in period attire, quill-and-ink signing, battlefield tours, and historic weapons demonstrations honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

Lake Wateree State Park Fireworks

📍 Winnsboro, SC | 📅 July 4, 2026 | 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Celebrate with a lakeside fireworks at Lake Wateree State Park show synchronized to music broadcast on KOOL 102.7 FM. Fireworks launch around 9:30 PM.
