An exhibit on one of Camden's most famous native sons, Lawrence Eugene "Larry" Doby. The exhibit tells the outstanding Larry Doby story with a rare collection of memorabilia to inaugurate the cultural center. Runs through August 30, 2018. Visit during museum hours.

The center showcases African-American history in the town and features a tribute to famous native son and baseball Hall of Famer, Larry Doby. Its mission is to highlight and foster the appreciation of the rich history of the African-American community of Camden and surrounding area. The center is a part of the Camden Archives and Museum system. Exhibits and programming is curated and operated by the archives and museum staff. Hours of operation: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1 pm - 4:30 pm, and Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.
