Celebrate the origins of the Carolina Piedmont holiday traditions at this special event. Historically dressed interpreters will portray how the holidays were celebrated during the 18th and 19th centuries. Features visits from Father Christmas, live music of the era and hands-on activities for all ages. Relax around the campfire and enjoy a warm beverage. Food will be available for purchase. Sutlers will be selling period-style goods. The Gift Shop will be well-stocked with seasonal items and locally made goods.

This site features over thirty colonial and antebellum structures, including two house museums. The plantation spreads over 800-acres and includes farmed land with heritage breed animals, a Revolutionary War battlefield site with interpretive trail, and a nature preserve with miles of walking trails. Seasonal events, reenactments, and living history programs interpret life in the Carolina Backcountry from the 1750s to the 1850s. Award-winning African American programs are an essential part of telling the story of the Carolina Piedmont. Also a site on the SC Ag + Art Tour. Open Tues–Sat: 10 am–5 pm and Sun: 1–5 pm, except New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Admission is charged. Limited handicap accessibility. I-77, exit 82-B.
