Carolina Piedmont Seminar Series: Native Gardening with Wildflowers

Shade or sun? Wet or dry? There are native wildflowers in the southeast that will work for you! Learn how to legally collect seeds, propagate from seed or start from tubers or bulbs. This seminar series will be taught by Dr. Robert Carter - a forest ecologist with 20 years of experience as a professor researching native forested ecosystems.  He is a Rock Hill native with degrees from Clemson University, Auburn University, and North Carolina State University.

 Pre-registration and payment for all three sessions is required by February 3, 2020.

Cost: $30 CHM Members, Volunteers, Teachers/Students with ID | $40 Non-CHM Members; covers all three seminars, class notes, and book, "Bringing Nature Home" by Douglas W. Tallamy and one free soil test.

Note: York County, SC Educators may earn 2 CEU credits per seminar. Winthrop University may award one Cultural Credit per student per seminar attended.
