Black History Program- The Dialetic Verse of Paul Laurence Dunbar

Paul Laurence Dunbar, one of America's first influential African American poets, has his poetry brought to life through Larry J. Williams. A poet himself, Mr. Williams will also recite some of his works along with works by Langston Hughes. The City of Rock Hill's new Poet Laureate, Angelo Geter will bring some of his poetry to life. Local community advocate Trina Ricks will perform a portrayal of Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space. Register online here, or call (803) 981-5858.
