49th Annual Revolutionary War Field Days

This event, featuring battle reenactments and living history demonstrations gathers hundreds of reenactors from across the country to camp in the shadow of the Kershaw-Cornwallis House. Battles occur at 1:30pm on both days with units representing the American Continental Army and militias as well as British and Loyalist forces. Other fun activities include 18th century living history and craft demonstrations, talks from scholars and reenactors, and merchants selling their wares. Food vendors will also be on site. Tickets are purchased at the gate (we will have cash and card availability). $10 adults, $5 for active military personnel with ID, active first responders with ID, seniors, and ages 6-17. The Historic Camden Foundation is a private 501(c)3 non-profit museum whose mission is to protect, preserve, and celebrate Camden’s extraordinary Colonial and Revolutionary War history. 107 acres sit atop the original 18th-century property of the city’s founder Joseph Kershaw and the fortified Revolutionary War-era town occupied by British General Cornwallis and Lord Rawdon’s men from 1780-81. General admission and self-guided tour prices are available on the website. Hours are Tue-Sat: 10am-5pm; Sun: 1-5pm. Closed Mondays and major holidays. Guided tours at 10:30am and 2:30pm.
