Jenkinsville (c. 2008; population 50).
Located in western Fairfield County, Jenkinsville is the state’s most newly incorporated town. It lies between theBroad and the Little Rivers, and east of the Monticello Reservoir, near the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Generating Station. Historians may be interested in the Kincaid-Anderson House and quarry, located in the area. Jenkinsville's population at incorporation was 50, making it also South Carolina's smallest town.
