Established June 2003, this museum that is located in the rural setting of the Town of Sharon provides a link to the history of the region. In 5,000 square feet of exhibition space, it has preserved documents and objects relating to the history and growth of this Piedmont county’s story. The museum’s main exhibits include 1930-1940 country kitchen, 1860 Yorkville bedroom, 1890’s eclectic dining room, historic documents room, research library of over 1,200 volumes, War Room where veterans of Western York County are honored for their service, and an early 20th century classroom. Hours of operation are 10:00am to 3:00pm, Saturdays from April 22nd to November 18th. Special admission by requests. Admission: Adults $5.00, Students $3.00, 12 and under Free.
